Is She Ready For Vegas?

Dave has 7 siblings yet his mother still found the time and energy to have foreign exchange students when Dave was growing up. He has kept in close contact with one of them from Germany and he brought Mia the coolest present ever. Yes, he flew all the way from Germany with this and Mia loves it (even though some of her friends do NOT, sorry Owen). If she is in a bad mood I just put her on her lion and she is instantly all smiles! She's quite the lion tamer.

Fall Cutie!!

I guess I didn't blog the whole month of November. Oh well, here are some cute pics we took of Mia. Don't be fooled she hated sitting on the ground outside. She looks so much like Dave.

Mommy WOW... I'm a big girl now!

I can't believe how fast Mia is growing.  We are so excited for her 6 month appointment on the 27th to see how much she weighs and how long she has gotten.  She is a big girl and looks so cute in her big girl clothes!  She has her first tooth and is rolling all over the place.  Plus she dazzles us with her "da da" and she is working on her "ma ma".  She just started eating rice cereal last week because she can't get enough to eat lately.  She's laying down right now screaming  "da da, da da" holding on to her bunny that my aunt gave her.  She is a mess and I love her to pieces.

Mia is LOVING her rice cereal.  This was her first time trying it and she gobbled it up!

If you pretend real hard you can imagine a tooth in this picture!  It is so small its hard to see but I still thought it was a funny picture anyway.

RAGEM TAGEM!!!!

Ok ,unless you are my little brother you have no idea that ragem tagem is actually me cursing. Yes, I am cursing once again about none other than... Mia's sleeping or lack of sleeping. Last night I was up until 1am with her screaming her guts out at me. I tried everything and she just wanted to scream. Usually as long as I'm holding her she is just peachy keen. Last night was rare and I hope she isn't starting a new phase. She might be teething but who really knows. She was sleeping through the night until about 2 weeks ago when she started waking up 2 to 4 times a night. I am back to being exhausted like when she was a newborn. I feel like a zombie right now. But like my wise mother in law says "This too shall pass.". I'm just trying to enjoy Mia as much as possible because they grow WAY too fast. I love her and would do anything for her but I can't wait until she's sleeping through the night again. So if you see me and I look like death just tell me how fabulous I look. Sleep, we'll meet again soon and I want you to know I love you and miss you dearly!

Rub A Dub Dub, This Girl and Her Tub

I haven't posted in almost a month!! I have a million pictures to catch up on but I wanted to share the most recent ones. I took these this morning during Mia's bath. She gets all wound up when she gets a bath so she takes them in the morning. We learned the hard way about giving her a bath before bedtime. Probably it has something to do with the fact that I have to grease her up with Aquaphor after her bath. Aquaphor is the consistency of Vaseline. She has the driest skin ever and can't use any smell good baby lotion or it breaks her out. She LOVES her bath and tries to eat the wash cloth and drink the water. Most of the time she pees as soon as I put her in the warm water. She is getting so big and I have to say SUPER CUTE!!!!

And Round One Goes To... Mia!!!!

Mia is a very good baby but her sleep habits (or lack there of) leave me exhausted. She doesn't want to take naps and if she does she will only sleep for like 30 mins. And we won't even talk about night time. She was getting so much better and sleeping through the night but now she is reverting back to her rougher days. The pictures below are after an especially bad night. She has a scratch under her nose and one on her cheek. She showed sleep who the boss was but honestly I'm ready for sleep to win a few rounds again!
