Dance Dance Revolution

We decided Roxy wasn't the only one that needed more exercise, so the Revolution has come to the Rasmussen house. We feel guilty for making fun of that guy at the Student Union Building at Boise State who was always busting a sweat on the DDR machine. We wish he could come over now and show us some of his moves because now we're the ones busting a sweat.

It's so hard to say goodbye.....

Finally, my Harry Potter book came in the mail yesterday. I've been staring at it and it's beckoning to me. I'm a self proclaimed Harry Potter freak and proud of it. I've never tried to hide the fact that I love the books and movies. Yet, I can't bring myself to read it. I've been counting down it's release for months but now that it's here I'm just not ready for it all to be over. I know, I know, as Dave says, "How old are you?". I'm so scared someone will ruin the ending for me but I can't bring myself to read it either. What can I say, I'm a weirdo! Dave has been trying to read the ending to find out what happens and I keep threatening to kill him. I did notice the book was in a different spot this morning than last night so I'm sure he knows how it all ends. I thought this was going to be such a happy entry in my blog! I've been planning how I would rip it open and start reading and not stop till the very end. Now I'm dreading it! I think I need to get a life! Just be warned if my Harry dies I will be one mad woman so Rowling better watch out! More than that though, if ANYONE ruins the ending for me it will be a rage they aren't quite ready to handle! I'm sure you're all really scared!

4th of July Fun

Well we didn't get to do too much on the 4th because Dave was still studying for boards but we did take the pooch out to play and run some of the 2 lbs off the vet said she has to lose. She cracks us up running after her frisbee. We went to our ward's annual 4th of July breakfast too.

Fastforward to Saturday, July 7th Please...

This might be the most boring blog known to man but nonetheless it will be a blog! I had to get off Myspace because I was being violated more and more every time I signed on! A person can only take so many 12 year olds trying to be your friend. So here is the boring Rasmussen family in Louisville, Ky just trying to get through a little insanity we like to call "BOARDS". Dum Dum Dum..... I do believe I figured out why they are called boards. First they misspelled it, for me it should be spelled bored because my best friend is trying to learn a lifetime of information in 2 weeks. As for Dave, it's spelled correctly because it means the big board he wants me to hit him over the head with for a self inflicted coma! It will be over on Saturday and I will never be so grateful as after that day is over! "Dave oh Dave where has my Davie gone? To his office to study our life away!" Which brings me to a sad but funny story that does include the princess of all princesses....Roxanne Rasmussen Min Pin extraordinaire! Dave took time out of his busy study schedule to take Roxy for her yearly check up. She had to get a rabies shot which mind you she's had before. Poor little doggie had a very bad allergic reaction to the shot and had a bunch of bumps all over her like a hundred bees stung her. Her poor face was all swollen too. It looked like Dave tried to pull some teeth or something! Dave called the vet and with their medical powers combined decided she needed some Benadryl. So she was heavily medicated and pretty drowsy but the swelling finally went down. So when I say boring Rasmussen household I guess I'm not being completely truthful!
